Amidst one of our busiest periods ever, supporting thousands of advisors through some extremely volatile times, our Envestnet | Tamarac Reporting® and Trading® teams continued to focus on enhancements and innovations. For our April release, we’re excited to introduce eight new improvements to our Reporting and Trading capabilities. In our regular “What’s New from Tamarac” series, we highlight the latest innovations that support your relationships with clients and your efforts to help them achieve financial wellness.
Here’s a look at what’s new:
1. New Assets & Liabilities page
To better connect the many pieces of your clients’ financial lives, we’ve launched a new Assets & Liabilities page for the desktop version of our client portal. Now, you can aggregate all your clients’ financial accounts in one place – and provide a holistic view of their finances.
2. Refresh to the Net Worth Report
Our enhanced Net Worth Report offers you more control over the display functionality, with the flexibility to format and organize data in a way that suits your clients’ needs. And, we’ve made significant improvements under the hood too, so you’ll notice faster loading and response times.
3. Simplified Performance History report
We understand how important it is to provide your clients with a clear presentation of performance data. We’ve updated the Performance History report to remove some data duplication, resulting in a more simplified approach to reporting.
4. Expanded composite reporting
To make your GIPS composite reporting smoother and more intuitive, our new release includes a few improvements. You’ll now have two enhanced saved search filters that are smarter about end dates, and the bulk report setting has been clarified to behave more predictably.
5. In-depth debt securities reporting
As debt securities continue to play a key role in diversified portfolios, we’ve made some enhancements to our fixed-income reporting. Now, our Holdings reports include yield and duration calculation for commercial paper and T-bills, and you can include debt securities on Bond Analysis reports.
6. Expanded multi-edit function to Aggregated Accounts page
Multi-edit is a time-saving tool that allows you to apply the same change to multiple accounts at one time. Now, you can use multi-edit to complete Aggregated Account page actions, such as upgrading balance-only or APD accounts, refreshing link status, and unlinking or deleting linked accounts.
7. Increased opportunities to update holdings
Having timely data on your clients’ portfolios is especially important during trading. In the past, you could use “Update Holdings” on the Orders page to update the positions in clients’ accounts based on the trades logged in those accounts on a given day. Now, you have the flexibility to update holdings in saved accounts on a given day or on subsequent days after a trade was placed.
8. More Custodian Trading Requirements for FIX Flyer
To accommodate trades in more circumstances, we’ve expanded the capabilities of the FIX Flyer institutional trading solution. Now, you can add an additional account number field to fit the needs of some custodians who require modified account numbers as an indicator when they receive trades.
